yeah.. its happen to me just now.. he call me then tell me i had an outstanding loan payment to HLB personal loan about 3K. the person accent like sabahan people. for whole life, never apply personal loan to Hong Leong Bank before. its a scam call.

I received the same. 1st robot said I have RM3k++ outstanding (but I'm aware that I've no more outstanding with HLBB), press 9 to speak with operator. He wan't to check status by request name and IC number. I refuse to share and tell to contact direct with HLBB.

Man named Mr.Imran spoke to me regarding a loan payment which is 3 months due. Told him i dont have any account there. He suggested someone may have used my details and I should make a complaint in an hour or my name will be blacklisted. He told me warning letter has been sent to my address. I asked him for the address he gave me a KL address. He offered to connect me to the police dept. Told him I'll get back to the HQ.

received a call from this number (03 76268899) and informed that i had applied loan with HLB at Penang amount RM50k. (which i didn't stay at penang). This loan applied in early april & approved mid april. once i mentioned that i didn't apply any loan and the officer mentioned my full name, IC number, account number. I ask her what is my address, she said got 2 address, 1 is penang address & another is my current stay's address. The officer who called me is Jenny Lin* - mandarin spoking, her ID number HLB0006 Called back the same number, it's HLB call center & clarify with them it's a scam call. Normally call center won't use same number to call customer to collect debt, it will handle by different department.

I received a call from this number and reminded me that I had applied a housing loan with Hong Leong Bank and defaulted payment for more than 3 months. Once I mentioned that I didn't apply any loan from them and the officer requested for my IC number for further investigation. I turned him down immediately.

i give him my name and my ic no. what should i do? after he claim me i have personal loan apply last may, i said i will call hq back after i clarify all thing. Then i check this number it was scam call 03-76268899. The officer is Chinese guy.
