Call suppossedly from Hong Leong. Machine talking. Said I have RM3,325.00 unpaid loan amount. But I DO NOT HAVE ANY HONG LEONG BANK ACCOUNT. That confirms it's a scam. To talk to the customer service press 9. I DID NOT.

This number +376268899 is actually the infamous scam number +603-76268899. they will use machine voice saying you have defaulted payments for a loan with some banks (usually Hong Leong) amounting RM 3k ++, if you like to speak to an officer , press "9".Then, i hang up..

The person talking was impersonating Hong Leong Bank officer working at PJ City named Mohd Faizal bin Abdul Mahmud. Saying you have defaulted payments for a loan with the bank. Telling something is wrong and they advised to make a police report. Giving out your personal details like ic number and full name to convince they are genuine. This number was the same as Hong Leong Bank Call Centre official phone number.

This number +376268899 is actually the infamous scam number +603-76268899. they will use machine voice saying you have defaulted payments for a loan with some banks (usually Hong Leong) amounting RM 3k ++, if you like to speak to an officer , press "9". If you press 9 you'll be talking to someone who claimed to be a bank officer. once you explained that you no not have any loan with their bank they will say that this is a case of someone using your ID to make a loan, and connect you with the central bank (Bank Negara) and/or the police. Then another scammer will claim to be police or bank negara officer, advise you to transfer all you money into a single account, and they will find ways to have online access to that account. in minutes, the money will disappear.
